Job description

Primary Care Services: Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease management, and health promotion. Patient Consultations: Conducting patient consultations to assess medical histories, perform physical examinations, and diagnose medical conditions. Addressing patients' concerns, symptoms, and healthcare needs in a compassionate and thorough manner. Diagnostic Testing and Interpretation: Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, imaging studies (X-rays, ultrasounds), and electrocardiograms (ECGs), to aid in the diagnosis and management of medical conditions. Treatment Planning and Management: Developing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their medical diagnoses, preferences, and needs. Prescribing medications, therapies, lifestyle interventions, and referrals to specialists as appropriate. Chronic Disease Management: Managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and arthritis through regular monitoring, medication adjustments, patient education, and coordination of care with other healthcare providers. Preventive Care and Health Promotion: Promoting preventive healthcare measures, including vaccinations, screenings, and counseling on lifestyle modifications (e.g., diet, exercise, smoking cessation) to reduce the risk of disease and promote overall wellness. Health Education and Counseling: Providing patient education and counseling on various health topics, including disease prevention, medication adherence, management of common ailments, and healthy lifestyle behaviors. Minor Surgical Procedures: Performing minor surgical procedures and medical interventions in the office setting, such as suturing lacerations, removing skin lesions, and administering injections. Emergency Care and Urgent Care: Providing immediate medical care for urgent health concerns, injuries, and acute medical conditions during office hours. Stabilizing patients in emergency situations and coordinating referrals to emergency departments or specialists as needed. Care Coordination and Referrals: Collaborating with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs. Facilitating referrals to specialists for further evaluation and treatment. Medical Record Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and communications with other healthcare providers, in compliance with medical record-keeping standards and privacy regulations. Continuing Medical Education: Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending conferences, workshops, and medical seminars, to stay updated on advances in medical knowledge, evidence-based practices, and clinical guidelines.
