Handling Phone Calls: Manage incoming calls, route calls to the appropriate staff or department, take messages, and provide basic information over the phone. Front office staff operate a multi-line phone system efficiently and maintain proper phone etiquette. Scheduling and Appointment Management: Schedule appointments, meetings, or reservations for clients or staff members using scheduling software or manual systems. Front office staff coordinate schedules, confirm appointments, and notify relevant parties of appointment details. Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register guests, clients, or patients upon arrival, collect necessary information, verify identification, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures. Front office staff ensure accuracy in documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
