Job description

Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis: Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Use diagnostic tools, such as scan tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, to troubleshoot problems and pinpoint the root causes of vehicle malfunctions. Engine Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose engine performance issues, including misfires, rough idling, and lack of power, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Conduct engine tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacements, and timing belt inspections to maintain engine efficiency and longevity. Brake System Service: Inspect brake components, including pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines, for wear, damage, or fluid leaks. Replace worn brake pads, resurface rotors, bleed brake lines, and adjust brake systems to ensure optimal stopping power and safety. Suspension and Steering Repair: Inspect suspension components, such as struts, shocks, control arms, and ball joints, for wear, damage, or alignment issues. Perform wheel alignments, tire rotations, and steering system repairs to maintain vehicle stability, handling, and ride comfort. Electrical System Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot electrical problems, such as faulty wiring, blown fuses, and malfunctioning sensors, using wiring diagrams and diagnostic procedures. Repair or replace electrical components, including batteries, alternators, starters, and ignition systems, to restore vehicle functionality. Cooling and HVAC System Service: Inspect cooling system components, such as radiators, hoses, water pumps, and thermostats, for leaks, corrosion, or blockages. Perform coolant flushes, radiator repairs, and HVAC system diagnostics to maintain engine temperature regulation and cabin comfort. Transmission and Drivetrain Repair: Diagnose transmission problems, including slipping, shifting issues, and fluid leaks, using diagnostic tools and inspection techniques. Perform transmission fluid changes, clutch replacements, and driveline repairs to ensure smooth operation and power delivery. Exhaust System Maintenance: Inspect exhaust system components, including mufflers, catalytic converters, and exhaust pipes, for leaks, corrosion, or damage. Repair or replace exhaust system parts to reduce noise, control emissions, and improve engine performance. Vehicle Maintenance Services: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as fluid checks, filter replacements, belt inspections, and tire rotations, according to manufacturer recommendations. Follow service schedules and maintenance intervals to prevent premature wear and tear, extend vehicle lifespan, and optimize performance. Customer Interaction and Communication: Interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, explain repair options, and provide estimates for services.
