Job description

Diagnosis: Utilize diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify issues with vehicles. This involves listening to customer complaints, conducting visual inspections, and performing diagnostic tests to pinpoint problems accurately. Repair and Maintenance: Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine repairs, brake system repairs, transmission repairs, suspension repairs, and electrical system repairs. You'll also conduct routine maintenance services like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Component Replacement: Replace faulty or worn-out components with new ones, including parts like alternators, starters, batteries, spark plugs, belts, hoses, and filters. You'll need to ensure that replacements meet manufacturer specifications and are installed correctly. Welding and Fabrication: In some cases, you may need to perform welding and fabrication work to repair or modify vehicle components. This could involve welding metal parts, repairing body damage, or customizing vehicle features. Diagnostic Software: Use computerized diagnostic tools and software to interface with vehicle onboard systems, retrieve error codes, and troubleshoot electronic and computer-controlled components. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options, provide cost estimates, and address any concerns they may have.
