Job description

Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, or other issues. Use diagnostic tools, visual inspections, and test drives to determine the source of problems. Diagnostic Testing: Perform diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to identify problems with engine performance, emissions, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle systems. Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace faulty components and systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension components, electrical systems, and exhaust systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid flushes, and tire rotations. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems by analyzing symptoms, interpreting diagnostic data, and applying technical knowledge and expertise. Use logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to identify and address root causes of issues. Parts Replacement: Remove and install automotive parts and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension components, belts, hoses, spark plugs, and sensors. Follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures to ensure proper installation and functionality. Vehicle Upgrades: Install aftermarket components and accessories to enhance vehicle performance, appearance, or functionality. This may include installing performance upgrades, audio systems, lighting kits, or custom accessories based on customer preferences. Safety Compliance: Ensure that vehicle repairs and modifications comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, lifting vehicles, and using tools and equipment safely. Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and cost estimates. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, parts used, and labor hours. Document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and service recommendations for reference and billing purposes.
