Job description

Team Management: Supervising and directing the activities of team members, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and training, and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained. Workflow Coordination: Coordinating workflow and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage during peak times, breaks, and special events. This may involve adjusting staffing assignments and reallocating resources as needed to meet demand. Customer Service: Ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service by monitoring service levels, addressing customer inquiries or complaints, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Product Knowledge: Having a thorough understanding of the products or services offered by the business and providing guidance and assistance to team members in effectively communicating product features, benefits, and promotions to customers. Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees. This includes conducting safety inspections, addressing safety hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating replenishment orders to ensure adequate stock availability and minimize out-of-stock situations. Quality Control: Performing quality checks on products or services to ensure they meet established standards and specifications. This may involve inspecting merchandise, reviewing customer feedback, and addressing any quality issues or concerns. Training and Development: Providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to help them develop their skills, improve their performance, and achieve their goals. This may include conducting training sessions, performance evaluations, and individual coaching sessions. Communication: Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members, as well as between management and frontline staff. This includes holding regular team meetings, sharing important information and updates, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Problem-Solving: Identifying and addressing operational challenges, obstacles, or bottlenecks that may impede productivity or customer satisfaction. This may involve brainstorming solutions, implementing process improvements, and seeking input from team members. Performance Tracking: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of operations, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
