Job description

Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff, including room attendants, housekeeping aides, and maintenance personnel. Assign duties, set performance expectations, and provide guidance and support to ensure the team delivers high-quality service. Workflow Coordination: Manage the workflow on the assigned floor to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient use of resources. Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk, concierge, and maintenance, to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly. Room Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with resort standards. Identify any issues or deficiencies and take appropriate corrective actions to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and appearance. Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish supplies and amenities on the assigned floor, including linens, toiletries, and guestroom supplies. Coordinate with the housekeeping inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize wastage. Training and Development: Provide training to floor staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, customer service standards, and resort policies. Continuously coach and mentor team members to improve performance and enhance guest satisfaction. Guest Relations: Interact with guests on the assigned floor to address any concerns, requests, or special needs they may have. Ensure that guest inquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally to exceed guest expectations. Safety and Security: Enforce safety and security protocols on the assigned floor to protect guests, staff, and resort property. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fire safety standards, and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the quality of service delivery on the assigned floor, including cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective measures as needed to uphold service excellence. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with other departments and management to relay information, share updates, and coordinate activities. Attend regular meetings and briefings to stay informed about resort policies, procedures, and upcoming events. Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints, incidents, and emergencies on the assigned floor, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction. Escalate unresolved issues to higher management as necessary and follow up to ensure resolution. Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks related to floor operations, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and processing paperwork. Ensure accuracy and compliance with resort policies and procedures in all administrative activities. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and service enhancements on the assigned floor. Collaborate with management and staff to implement changes and initiatives that optimize efficiency and elevate the guest experience.
