Team Leadership: Supervising and leading a team of floor staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support. Ensuring team members adhere to company policies and standards. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, addressing inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues effectively. Ensuring a positive customer experience and handling escalated customer situations professionally. Operations Management: Overseeing daily operations on the floor, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand. Training and Development: Training new employees on job responsibilities, company policies, and customer service standards. Providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities to improve team performance. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and coordinating replenishment of merchandise on the floor. Ensuring accurate product displays and availability for customers. Sales and Promotions: Driving sales through effective merchandising, product presentation, and promotion of sales initiatives. Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with quality standards, cleanliness, and hygiene practices on the floor. Conducting regular inspections to maintain a tidy and organized environment for customers and staff. Safety and Security: Maintaining a safe and secure environment by enforcing safety protocols, monitoring surveillance systems (if applicable), and addressing safety hazards or incidents promptly. Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with staff, management, and customers. Providing clear instructions, updates on policies or procedures, and resolving conflicts or issues professionally. Problem Solving: Addressing operational challenges, customer complaints, and staff issues in a timely and effective manner. Implementing solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Decision Making: Making informed decisions regarding customer service, staffing, and operational issues. Prioritizing tasks and resources to meet business objectives and customer needs. Adaptability: Adapting to changing business conditions, customer preferences, and operational requirements.
