Staff Management: Supervising and directing the activities of floor staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that employees understand their roles and responsibilities. Customer Service: Ensuring that high-quality customer service is provided to all patrons on the floor. Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction. Sales Support: Supporting sales staff in achieving sales targets and goals by providing assistance, resolving issues, and addressing customer needs. Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve performance. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels on the floor, restocking merchandise as needed, and ensuring that products are properly displayed and organized to maximize sales and customer convenience. Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of products or services provided on the floor and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. Addressing any quality issues or concerns promptly and implementing corrective actions. Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, and property on the floor. Enforcing safety protocols, emergency procedures, and security measures to prevent accidents, injuries, or incidents. Training and Development: Training new hires and providing ongoing training and coaching to existing staff members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance. Identifying training needs and opportunities for improvement. Communication: Facilitating communication between floor staff, management, and other departments to coordinate activities, share information, and address issues or concerns. Conducting regular team meetings or briefings to provide updates and foster teamwork. Performance Evaluation: Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to floor staff on their performance, behavior, and contributions. Recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and addressing performance issues or concerns as needed. Administrative Tasks: Completing administrative tasks related to floor operations, such as scheduling staff shifts, processing payroll, preparing reports, and maintaining records. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
