Team Leadership and Management: Supervising and leading a team of employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. Providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their performance and development. Operational Oversight: Monitoring and managing day-to-day operations on the floor to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to established procedures. Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members based on workload and priorities. Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and effectively. Coaching team members on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive customer experience. Quality Control: Monitoring product or service quality to ensure adherence to standards and specifications. Implementing quality control measures and conducting inspections as necessary. Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock management. Collaborating with inventory or warehouse teams to facilitate replenishment and minimize stock discrepancies. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment. Conducting regular inspections and addressing any safety hazards or concerns promptly. Training and Development: Conducting training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Providing feedback and performance evaluations to support employee development and career progression. Communication and Coordination: Facilitating communication between different departments or shifts to ensure coordination and collaboration. Communicating updates, changes, and objectives to the team effectively. Problem Solving and Decision Making: Resolving operational issues and making decisions in a timely manner to minimize disruptions and optimize productivity. Using analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve processes. Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to operations, incidents, and employee performance. Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on floor activities, performance metrics, and challenges.
