Staff Supervision and Leadership: Directly supervise and manage the activities of floor staff, including sales associates, servers, or customer service representatives. Floor Supervisors provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team members perform their duties effectively and adhere to company policies and standards. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service levels, addressing customer inquiries or complaints promptly, and resolving issues to enhance the overall customer experience. Floor Supervisors lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for patrons. Floor Operations Management: Oversee daily operations on the assigned floor or department, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and task delegation. Floor Supervisors coordinate workflow, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to meet operational goals and maintain efficient service delivery. Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and merchandise displays on the floor. Floor Supervisors ensure stock replenishment, organize merchandise according to company guidelines, and conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stockouts and optimize sales opportunities. Training and Development: Train new hires and provide ongoing training for existing staff on product knowledge, service standards, sales techniques, and operational procedures. Floor Supervisors identify training needs, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor team members to improve skills and productivity. Sales Performance and Targets: Monitor sales performance metrics, such as sales targets, conversion rates, and average transaction value. Floor Supervisors motivate and incentivize staff to achieve sales goals, implement sales strategies, and upsell or cross-sell products to maximize revenue generation. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, security protocols, and company policies. Floor Supervisors maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers, conduct safety inspections, and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly. Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between floor staff, management, and other departments to coordinate operations and resolve issues effectively.
