Job description

Team Management: Supervising and coordinating the activities of floor staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that team members adhere to company policies and procedures. Customer Service: Monitoring customer interactions and ensuring that all customers receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Floor Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations on the floor, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and coordinating replenishment or restocking activities as needed to ensure adequate availability of products or supplies. Sales and Revenue Generation: Working with sales staff to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities. Implementing strategies to drive sales, such as upselling, cross-selling, or promoting special offers. Training and Development: Providing training, coaching, and ongoing development opportunities to floor staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities. Performance Evaluation: Conducting performance reviews and evaluations of floor staff, providing feedback on performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recognizing achievements or contributions. Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of both customers and employees by enforcing safety protocols, monitoring for hazards or risks, and responding promptly to emergencies or incidents. Communication and Coordination: Serving as a liaison between floor staff and upper management, communicating operational updates, goals, and expectations. Collaborating with other departments or team members to coordinate activities and resolve issues. Administrative Tasks: Performing administrative duties such as scheduling shifts, managing payroll, preparing reports, and maintaining records related to sales, inventory, and employee performance.
