Customer Assistance: Greet customers as they enter the retail floor, assist them in finding products, and provide information about product features, pricing, and availability. Offer personalized recommendations based on their needs and preferences. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the products available for sale, including features, specifications, and benefits. Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and sales to effectively communicate with customers. Sales Generation: Actively engage with customers to drive sales and achieve individual and team targets. Use persuasive selling techniques to upsell or cross-sell products and maximize revenue opportunities. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail floor by arranging products neatly, restocking shelves, and ensuring proper signage and displays. Collaborate with the merchandising team to implement promotional campaigns and seasonal changes. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and assist with inventory replenishment and stock rotation. Notify management of low stock levels or inventory discrepancies to ensure adequate product availability. Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems or cash registers. Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods according to established procedures. Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations or samples to showcase features and benefits and encourage customer engagement. Demonstrate product usage and answer any questions customers may have. Follow-up and After-sales Support: Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and encourage repeat business. Provide after-sales support such as product troubleshooting, exchanges, or returns as necessary. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve sales targets, share product knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of the retail operation. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
