Staff Supervision: Floor managers supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff, ensuring that they adhere to company policies and procedures. Customer Service: They ensure that customers receive high-quality service by addressing any inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally. Floor managers may step in to resolve escalated issues or difficult situations to maintain customer satisfaction. Floor Operations: Floor managers oversee the day-to-day operations of their assigned area, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, restocking shelves or displays, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Sales and Promotions: They implement sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue and achieve sales targets. This may involve coordinating sales events, product launches, or special promotions to attract customers and increase sales. Performance Monitoring: Floor managers monitor the performance of floor staff, tracking key performance indicators such as sales metrics, customer satisfaction scores, and productivity levels. They provide feedback and coaching to help employees improve their performance. Scheduling: They create and manage employee schedules, taking into account factors such as staffing needs, employee availability, and labor budget constraints. Floor managers ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours and adjust schedules as needed.
