Job description

Team Leadership: Leading and supervising the team of employees working on the floor, including sales associates, servers, and other staff members. Providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure they perform their duties effectively. Shift Management: Planning and organizing shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events. Assigning tasks and responsibilities to staff members based on their skills and availability. Customer Service: Ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service at all times. Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Sales Performance: Monitoring sales performance and productivity metrics, such as sales targets, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction scores. Taking proactive measures to address any performance issues and improve team performance. Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels and stock replenishment to ensure products are available for customers. Conducting regular stock checks and coordinating with the inventory control team to manage stock levels effectively. Visual Merchandising: Ensuring that products are displayed effectively and in accordance with brand standards to maximize sales. Overseeing the layout and presentation of merchandise to create visually appealing displays that attract customers. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment, proper handling of equipment, and adherence to food safety standards (if applicable). Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of floor staff. Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to support employee growth and development. Communication and Coordination: Serving as a liaison between frontline staff and upper management, relaying important information, feedback, and concerns. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members to achieve common goals. Problem Solving: Handling any operational issues or challenges that arise during the shift, such as equipment malfunctions, staff shortages, or customer complaints. Taking proactive steps to resolve issues quickly and minimize disruptions to business operations. Administrative Tasks: Completing various administrative tasks, such as preparing shift reports, maintaining employee records, and processing payroll. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Performance Evaluation: Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members on their performance, strengths, and areas for improvement. Recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance to motivate staff members. Promotions and Events: Planning and coordinating promotional events or special sales initiatives to drive foot traffic and increase sales. Collaborating with marketing and promotional teams to execute strategies effectively. Budget Management: Assisting with budget planning and management, including monitoring expenses, optimizing resources, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures. Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies and practices accordingly.
