Staff Management: Supervise and manage the store's sales associates, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to provide excellent customer service. Delegate tasks, assign responsibilities, and provide guidance as needed to ensure optimal performance. Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service to all shoppers. Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints, resolve issues promptly and effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times. Floor Operations: Monitor the day-to-day activities on the sales floor to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate with staff to maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards. Ensure that product displays are attractive, well-stocked, and accurately priced. Sales Performance: Set sales targets and goals for the store and motivate the team to achieve them. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to increase revenue, upsell products, and meet or exceed sales targets. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and stock replenishment to ensure adequate product availability. Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with the inventory control team to minimize stockouts and overstocks. Cash Management: Supervise cash handling procedures, including opening and closing cash registers, performing cash audits, and reconciling daily sales. Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and security protocols to minimize risks of theft or errors. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service abilities. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support staff growth and improvement. Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and staff by enforcing safety protocols, monitoring security systems, and addressing any safety hazards or concerns promptly. Train staff on emergency procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels with store staff, management, and other departments. Relay important information, updates, and directives from upper management to the team and provide feedback or suggestions as needed. Problem Solving: Act as a resource for resolving issues or challenges that arise during the shift. Address any operational or customer-related issues promptly and proactively seek solutions to minimize disruptions to the store's operations. Sales Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers on the sales floor, build relationships, and gather feedback on their shopping experience. Use customer insights to identify trends, preferences, and areas for improvement in product offerings or service delivery.
