Job description

Staff Supervision: Directly supervise and manage the floor staff, including sales associates, servers, or customer service representatives. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that staff adhere to company policies and procedures. Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service by coaching and mentoring staff on effective customer engagement, problem resolution, and product knowledge. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Sales Performance: Monitor and drive sales performance on the floor by setting sales targets, tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and implementing strategies to increase revenue and meet sales goals. Train staff on upselling and cross-selling techniques. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and stock replenishment on the floor. Monitor product availability, coordinate restocking efforts, and conduct regular stock checks to prevent out-of-stock situations. Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the floor layout, displays, and signage are visually appealing and effectively showcase merchandise. Implement merchandising guidelines and standards to enhance the customer shopping experience and maximize sales. Operational Efficiency: Maintain operational efficiency by overseeing daily routines, opening and closing procedures, and cleanliness standards on the floor. Address any operational issues or maintenance concerns promptly to minimize disruptions. Staff Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to floor staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service abilities. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations and assessments of floor staff to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and training needs. Recognize and reward top performers and provide support to underperforming team members. Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers. Implement measures to prevent accidents, theft, and other security risks. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with store management, colleagues, and other departments to ensure alignment of goals, priorities, and operational strategies. Collaborate with other floor managers and team leaders to coordinate efforts and share best practices. Customer Feedback and Insights: Solicit and gather customer feedback, suggestions, and insights to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience on the floor. Use feedback to make informed decisions and implement changes as needed. Promotions and Events: Coordinate promotional activities, events, and special sales initiatives on the floor to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance customer engagement. Collaborate with marketing teams to execute marketing campaigns effectively. Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Ensure that floor staff comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. Enforce rules and regulations related to employee conduct, dress code, and workplace behavior. Problem Solving and Decision Making: Address any issues or challenges that arise on the floor, such as customer complaints, staffing issues, or operational problems. Make quick and effective decisions to resolve problems and maintain a positive customer experience. Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and performance optimization on the floor. Encourage innovation, creativity, and collaboration among staff to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
