Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of floor staff, including sales associates, servers, or customer service representatives. Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure the team delivers exceptional service and meets performance targets. Staff Training and Development: Train new hires on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of floor staff members. Shift Management: Coordinate and manage daily shift schedules, assignments, and breaks for floor staff members. Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand and operational requirements during peak hours and special events. Customer Service: Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Resolve escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and stock replenishment for products or supplies on the sales floor. Coordinate with inventory control staff to monitor stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and place orders as needed. Visual Merchandising: Ensure the visual presentation and layout of the sales floor are appealing, organized, and in accordance with company standards. Coordinate with the visual merchandising team to set up displays, signage, and promotional materials. Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance metrics, such as sales targets, conversion rates, and average transaction value. Implement strategies to drive sales, upsell products or services, and maximize revenue opportunities. Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, security protocols, and emergency procedures on the sales floor. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards or security risks. Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration among floor staff members, management, and other departments. Facilitate team meetings, share updates, and encourage feedback to improve operations and customer service. Problem-solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address operational issues, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Anticipate potential challenges and proactively implement solutions to minimize disruptions. Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapt to changing business needs, customer preferences, and market trends. Remain flexible in adjusting staffing levels, schedules, and strategies to optimize performance and meet evolving demands.
