Staff Supervision: The Floor Manager is responsible for supervising and directing the activities of the front-line staff, including servers, sales associates, or customer service representatives. Scheduling: Floor Managers create work schedules for employees, taking into account factors such as staffing levels, peak hours, and employee availability. They ensure adequate coverage during busy periods and optimize labor costs while meeting service requirements. Training and Development: They train new hires and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service techniques. Floor Managers may conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to support their growth and success. Customer Service: Floor Managers interact with customers to address inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive experience. They handle escalated issues or difficult situations, demonstrating professionalism and empathy while striving to meet or exceed customer expectations.
