Setting clear performance expectations, goals, and targets for the team. Recruitment and Training: Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new field sales representatives as needed. Providing training and development opportunities to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of company policies and procedures. Sales Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Identifying target markets, segments, and opportunities for growth. Setting sales quotas and territories for the team. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and accounts. Participating in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations as needed. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring the performance of field sales representatives against sales targets and KPIs. Analyzing sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management. Field Sales Support: Providing support and assistance to field sales representatives in their day-to-day activities. This may include accompanying them on client visits, providing product training, resolving customer issues, and supporting sales presentations. Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth. Gathering feedback from customers and field sales representatives to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives. Budget Management: Managing the field sales budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize return on investment. Monitoring expenses and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
