Prospecting: Identifying potential customers and businesses within your assigned territory through research, networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust pipeline of leads. Customer Visits: Conducting face-to-face meetings or sales presentations with potential customers to showcase products or services, explain features and benefits, and address any questions or objections they may have. Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, preferences, and buying behaviors, and to foster long-term loyalty and repeat business. Needs Assessment: Conducting thorough needs assessments or consultations with customers to understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives, and to tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Product Demonstration: Demonstrating product functionality, usage, and benefits to customers to showcase its value and differentiate it from competitors' offerings. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating terms of sale, pricing, and contracts with customers to secure deals and achieve sales targets, while also addressing any objections or concerns they may have to close the sale successfully. Order Processing: Processing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, and coordinating with internal teams to fulfill customer requests and deliver products or services in a timely manner. Market Intelligence: Gathering market intelligence and competitor insights through customer interactions and observations to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and adjustment of sales strategies. Customer Support: Providing after-sales support and assistance to customers, such as addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction to enhance retention and referral rates. Reporting and Analysis: Tracking sales activities, monitoring performance against targets, and generating reports to assess progress, identify trends, and measure effectiveness, while also providing feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
