Job description

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers or leads within your assigned territory or market segment. Use various prospecting techniques, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals, to generate new business opportunities. 2. Customer Engagement: Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective clients to showcase products or services and address their needs. Build rapport and establish trust with customers through active listening, effective communication, and understanding of their requirements. 3. Sales Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of sale, including pricing, payment terms, and contract terms, to close deals and achieve sales targets. Overcome objections and address customer concerns by providing solutions and value propositions that meet their needs. 4. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. Follow up with clients regularly to provide updates, solicit feedback, and address any issues or concerns they may have. 5. Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for sales growth and competitive positioning. Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to provide insights and recommendations for product or service enhancements. 6. Territory Management: Manage and prioritize sales activities within your assigned territory, including scheduling appointments, planning routes, and maximizing time and resources. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets. 7. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or sales tracking tools. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track progress, measure results, and identify areas for improvement. 8. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Stay updated on product developments, enhancements, and updates to effectively communicate value propositions to customers. 9. Communication Skills: Communicate effectively and persuasively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Tailor communication styles and messages to different audiences, such as decision-makers, influencers, and end-users. 10.
