Job description

Diagnosis and Treatment: Ear Conditions: Diagnosing and treating ear infections, hearing loss, balance disorders, ear wax buildup, and other ear-related problems. Nose and Sinus Disorders: Managing sinus infections (sinusitis), nasal congestion, allergies, deviated septum, nasal polyps, and nasal fractures. Throat Conditions: Treating throat infections (pharyngitis), tonsillitis, voice disorders (hoarseness), swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), and throat cancer. Head and Neck Conditions: Addressing conditions such as neck masses, salivary gland disorders, facial trauma, and tumors of the head and neck. Medical Procedures and Surgery: Endoscopic Examinations: Performing endoscopic procedures to visualize the nasal passages, sinuses, throat, and larynx for diagnostic purposes. Surgical Interventions: Performing surgeries such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, sinus surgery (functional endoscopic sinus surgery, FESS), ear tube placement (myringotomy), and procedures to correct nasal septum deviations. Microscopic Surgery: Using microscopes for precision in delicate surgeries, such as ear surgeries (tympanoplasty, stapedectomy) and vocal cord surgeries (phonosurgery). Hearing and Balance: Assessing and treating hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and balance disorders (vertigo) through diagnostic tests and appropriate interventions. Allergy Testing and Treatment: Evaluating and managing allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and other allergic conditions affecting the upper respiratory tract through allergy testing and immunotherapy. Voice and Swallowing Disorders: Evaluating and treating voice disorders (dysphonia) caused by vocal cord nodules, polyps, paralysis, or other conditions affecting voice production. Addressing swallowing disorders (dysphagia) related to structural abnormalities or neurological conditions. Pediatric ENT Care: Providing specialized care for children with ear infections, tonsil and adenoid issues, congenital abnormalities of the head and neck, and other pediatric ENT conditions. Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Care: Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including audiologists, speech therapists, oncologists, and neurologists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Participating in multidisciplinary teams for the management of head and neck cancers, facial trauma, and complex ENT conditions. Patient Education and Counseling: Educating patients and their families about ENT conditions, treatment options, post-operative care, and strategies for prevention and management.
