Job description

Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum aligned with educational standards and learning objectives. Select appropriate textbooks, materials, and resources to support student learning. Lesson Planning: Plan and prepare engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, activities, and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and comprehension. Instruction and Classroom Management: Deliver effective instruction in English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Manage classroom dynamics, behavior, and routines to create a positive and conducive learning environment. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and tests to measure student progress and learning outcomes. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement. Individualized Instruction: Identify individual learning needs and provide differentiated instruction and support to students who require extra assistance or enrichment activities. Offer additional resources, tutoring, or accommodations as needed. Literature Analysis: Introduce students to a variety of literary genres, authors, and works of literature. Facilitate discussions, analysis, and interpretation of literary texts to develop critical thinking and literary appreciation skills. Writing Skills Development: Teach writing skills, including essay composition, creative writing, research papers, and formal writing conventions. Provide guidance on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and style. Language Acquisition: Foster language acquisition and fluency through meaningful and authentic communication activities. Encourage students to use English in real-life contexts and engage in language practice outside the classroom.
