Curriculum Development: Develop and design curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources for teaching English language and literature. Align curriculum with educational standards and learning objectives to ensure comprehensive coverage of language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Reading Instruction: Teach students reading comprehension strategies, literary analysis skills, and critical thinking abilities through the study of various literary genres, texts, and works of literature. Foster a love for reading and appreciation of literature by exposing students to a diverse range of literary works and authors. Writing Instruction: Guide students in the development of writing skills, including grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and organization. Teach writing conventions, such as spelling, punctuation, and paragraphing, and provide feedback on student writing to improve clarity, coherence, and effectiveness. Speaking and Listening Skills: Provide opportunities for students to practice speaking and listening skills through class discussions, presentations, debates, and oral presentations. Encourage active participation, critical listening, and effective communication in both formal and informal contexts. Language Acquisition: Support English language learners (ELLs) in acquiring proficiency in English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and language proficiency levels among students.
