Job description

Installation: Installing new elevators, escalators, and lift systems in various buildings and facilities according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards. This involves assembling and installing elevator cars, shafts, doors, control panels, and safety devices, as well as wiring and electrical connections. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance checks and inspections on elevator systems to ensure they operate smoothly, safely, and reliably. This includes lubricating moving parts, adjusting tension in cables, testing safety features, and replacing worn or damaged components as needed. Repair: Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems with elevators and escalators to identify the root cause of malfunctions and implement appropriate repairs. This may involve repairing or replacing motors, switches, sensors, control boards, hydraulic systems, or other faulty components. Modernization: Upgrading and modernizing older elevator systems to improve performance, reliability, safety, and energy efficiency. This may include installing new control systems, upgrading safety features, replacing outdated components with modern equivalents, and implementing new technologies such as destination dispatch systems. Emergency Response: Responding to emergency calls and service requests to address elevator breakdowns, entrapments, or other urgent issues.
