Job description

Installation: You are responsible for installing new elevator systems according to blueprints, specifications, and safety codes. This involves assembling elevator components, wiring electrical systems, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality. Maintenance: You perform routine maintenance tasks on elevator systems to ensure they operate smoothly and safely. This includes lubricating moving parts, inspecting mechanical and electrical components, and adjusting systems as needed to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan. Troubleshooting and Repairs: You diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns in elevator systems, such as malfunctioning doors, faulty controls, or motor issues. This involves identifying the root cause of the problem, replacing damaged components, and testing systems to verify repairs. Safety Inspections: You conduct safety inspections and tests on elevator systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. This includes testing emergency brakes, door sensors, and interlock systems to ensure they function properly and prevent accidents or injuries. Emergency Response: In the event of elevator emergencies or service interruptions, you respond promptly to troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and inconvenience for building occupants. This may involve working outside of regular hours or on-call rotations to address emergencies as they arise. Customer Service: You provide excellent customer service to building owners, property managers, and tenants by addressing their concerns, answering questions, and keeping them informed about maintenance schedules and repair timelines. Documentation and Record-Keeping: You maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on elevator systems. This documentation is essential for tracking equipment history, identifying recurring issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuous Learning and Training: Elevator technology is constantly evolving, so you stay updated on new technologies, products, and safety regulations through training programs and professional development opportunities.
