Job description

Equipment Installation: You install electronic systems, components, and devices according to specifications and technical diagrams. This may include wiring, mounting, soldering, and configuring equipment such as control panels, circuit boards, sensors, and actuators. Diagnostic Testing: You perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify malfunctions, defects, or performance issues in electronic equipment. You use specialized tools, meters, and diagnostic software to troubleshoot problems and pinpoint root causes of issues. Repair and Maintenance: You repair or replace faulty electronic components, modules, or parts to restore equipment functionality. This may involve soldering, reprogramming, calibrating, or adjusting circuitry, as well as cleaning or replacing damaged components. Circuit Analysis: You analyze electronic circuits, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand circuit functionality and identify areas for improvement or optimization. You interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and manuals to ensure compliance with design requirements. Component-Level Repair: You have expertise in repairing electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits (ICs). You possess soldering skills and familiarity with electronic assembly techniques to perform component-level repairs. Safety Compliance: You adhere to safety regulations and protocols when working with electronic equipment, ensuring proper grounding, insulation, and handling of hazardous materials. You use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Documentation: You maintain accurate records of equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. You document procedures, test results, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and compliance with regulatory requirements. Software Configuration: You configure and program software settings, parameters, and interfaces for electronic systems such as controllers, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels, and industrial automation systems. Communication Skills: You communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to coordinate work activities, report findings, and provide status updates on repair or installation projects. You explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders. Continuous Learning: You stay updated on advancements in electronic technology, industry trends, and best practices through ongoing training, professional development, and self-study. You seek certifications or credentials relevant to your field to enhance your skills and career prospects.
