Teach courses in economics. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research. On the job, you would: Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as econometrics, price theory, and macroeconomics.Emphasize real world applications of economic skills including having students create a business plan utilizing a PowerPoint presentation. Integrate technology into curriculum, supplementing class lectures and activities, and developing student research skills. As an economics teacher, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, teaching students basic economic principles, administering and grading exams, and providing feedback on student assignments.
