Safe Driving: Operating the vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and other road users. Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, performing basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes, and reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the appropriate authority. Route Planning: Planning and following the most efficient route to reach the destination, taking into account factors such as traffic conditions, road closures, and weather conditions to minimize travel time and optimize fuel efficiency. Loading and Unloading: Assisting with the loading and unloading of passengers, goods, or materials onto and from the vehicle, ensuring that items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage or injury. Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service to passengers or customers, assisting them with boarding and disembarking, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or special requests. Document Handling: Keeping accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs, as well as collecting and delivering documents, packages, or goods as required. Communication: Maintaining communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers as needed to provide updates on the status of deliveries, report delays or incidents, and coordinate schedules. Adherence to Schedule: Adhering to schedules and deadlines for pickups, deliveries, or passenger transport, and making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes in plans or unforeseen circumstances. Safety Procedures: Following safety procedures and protocols, such as wearing seat belts, using signals and mirrors appropriately, and observing proper loading and unloading techniques to prevent accidents and injuries. Navigation Skills: Utilizing navigation devices, maps, or GPS systems to navigate unfamiliar routes and locate destinations accurately, especially in urban areas or remote locations. Professionalism: Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company or organization, and demonstrating courtesy and respect towards passengers, customers, and other road users. Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond calmly and effectively in case of emergencies, such as accidents, breakdowns, or medical incidents, and following established procedures for notifying authorities and providing assistance as needed.
