Safe Vehicle Operation: Operating vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and other road users. Route Planning and Navigation: Planning the most efficient routes to reach destinations, considering factors such as traffic conditions, road closures, and weather to minimize travel time and optimize fuel efficiency. Utilizing navigation devices or maps to navigate unfamiliar routes accurately. Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it's in good working condition, performing basic maintenance tasks like checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes. Reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly to the appropriate authority. Loading and Unloading: Assisting with the loading and unloading of passengers, goods, or materials onto and from the vehicle safely, ensuring items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage or injury. Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service to passengers or clients, assisting them with boarding and disembarking, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or special requests. Documentation Handling: Maintaining accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs. Collecting and delivering documents, packages, or goods as required, ensuring proper documentation and signatures are obtained. Communications: Maintaining communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or clients as needed to provide updates on the status of deliveries, report delays or incidents, and coordinate schedules. Flexibility and Adaptability: Being flexible and adaptable to changes in schedules, customer requests, or unexpected circumstances. Making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes in plans or unforeseen events. Safety Procedures: Following safety procedures and protocols, such as wearing seat belts, using signals and mirrors appropriately, and observing proper loading and unloading techniques to prevent accidents and injuries.
