Job description

Vehicle Operation: You operate a motor vehicle, such as a car, van, truck, or bus, to transport passengers, goods, or materials to their designated destinations. Vehicle Maintenance: You perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes, to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle. You report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel for repairs. Loading and Unloading: If transporting goods or materials, you may be responsible for loading and unloading cargo onto and from the vehicle. You ensure that the cargo is properly secured and handled to prevent damage during transit. Customer Service: If driving passengers, you provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers, assisting with luggage or belongings, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the journey. You may also provide information about local attractions, landmarks, or services as requested. Safety and Compliance: You adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while driving, including wearing seat belts, observing speed limits, and avoiding distracted driving behaviors. You comply with transportation regulations and maintain necessary licenses, permits, and certifications. Emergency Response: In case of emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns, you remain calm and follow established procedures to ensure the safety of passengers, yourself, and others on the road. Documentation: You maintain accurate records and documentation related to your driving activities, such as mileage logs, trip reports, and delivery receipts. You ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted on time. Communication: You communicate effectively with passengers, customers, colleagues, and supervisors to coordinate transportation services, address inquiries or concerns, and provide updates on delivery status or arrival times.
