Job description

Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a motor vehicle, such as a car, van, truck, or specialized vehicle, according to traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards. Drive defensively, obey traffic signs and signals, and maintain awareness of road conditions and hazards. Transportation Services: Provide transportation services to passengers, clients, or customers according to scheduled routes, itineraries, or instructions. Ensure punctuality and reliability in picking up and dropping off passengers or delivering goods and materials to designated locations. Passenger Safety: Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit by following safe driving practices, observing speed limits, and maintaining a smooth and steady driving pace. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicles as needed, and secure passengers' belongings and luggage. Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, packages, or materials onto vehicles safely and securely, following proper handling procedures and using appropriate equipment, such as dollies, hand trucks, or pallet jacks. Ensure that cargo is properly secured and balanced to prevent shifting during transit. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Check fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other mechanical components regularly, and report any issues or malfunctions for maintenance or repairs. Route Planning: Plan and organize driving routes to optimize efficiency, minimize fuel consumption, and avoid congestion or delays. Use navigation tools, maps, or GPS devices to find the most efficient and safest routes to destinations. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers, clients, or customers, addressing their inquiries, requests, and concerns in a prompt and friendly manner. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, trip logs, fuel purchases, and maintenance activities.
