Safe Operation of Vehicles: Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, following traffic laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain awareness of road conditions, weather hazards, and other factors that may affect driving safety. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and in good working condition. Perform routine inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs as needed to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Transportation of Passengers or Goods: Transport passengers, goods, or materials to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Follow designated routes or instructions provided by dispatchers or supervisors, and adjust routes as necessary to accommodate traffic or road closures. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload passengers, cargo, or materials from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure placement to prevent damage or shifting during transportation. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients by greeting them courteously, assisting with luggage or belongings, and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant travel experience. Navigation and Route Planning: Use navigation tools, maps, or GPS devices to plan routes, navigate unfamiliar areas, and avoid traffic congestion or road closures. Familiarize yourself with alternative routes and detours to minimize delays. Communication: Maintain open communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or passengers to provide updates on travel progress, report any issues or delays, and address inquiries or concerns. Adherence to Schedule: Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times for passengers, deliveries, or appointments. Notify supervisors or clients promptly if there are any delays or changes to the schedule. Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies governing driver conduct, vehicle operation, and safety standards. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or accidents on the road, including providing first aid, contacting emergency services, and following established protocols for reporting incidents.
