Job description

Guest Transportation: Transport guests to and from the resort, airport, train station, or other designated locations in a safe and timely manner. Greet guests warmly, assist with luggage handling, and provide information about resort amenities and services during transit. Shuttle Service: Operate shuttle buses or vans to transport guests between different areas of the resort, such as accommodations, dining facilities, recreational areas, and entertainment venues. Adhere to predetermined shuttle schedules and routes to facilitate smooth guest movement. Staff Transportation: Provide transportation services for resort staff, including shuttle services between staff housing and work locations, as well as transportation for off-site meetings, training sessions, and other work-related activities. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that assigned vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition at all times. Perform routine vehicle inspections, checks, and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating resort vehicles. Maintain a valid driver's license and comply with resort policies and procedures related to vehicle operation and safety. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests and passengers, including being courteous, professional, and accommodating to their needs and preferences. Respond promptly to requests, inquiries, and concerns in a courteous and helpful manner. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents while on duty, including accidents, medical emergencies, or vehicle breakdowns. Follow established protocols for reporting incidents and seeking assistance as needed. Navigation and Route Planning: Familiarize yourself with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns to efficiently navigate to various destinations. Use GPS navigation systems or maps to plan routes and avoid traffic congestion or delays. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with resort staff, dispatchers, and other drivers to coordinate transportation services, share information, and address any issues or changes in schedules or routes. Professionalism: Present yourself in a professional manner at all times, including wearing a neat and clean uniform, adhering to grooming standards, and displaying a positive attitude and demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues. Accessibility Assistance: Provide assistance to guests with disabilities or special needs, such as assisting with boarding and alighting from vehicles, securing mobility aids, and ensuring accessibility features are available and functional. Environmental Responsibility: Practice eco-friendly driving habits to minimize fuel consumption, emissions, and environmental impact. Follow resort policies and procedures for vehicle idling, fuel efficiency, and waste reduction.
