Safe Driving: Your top priority is to operate the vehicle safely and defensively, following traffic laws and regulations at all times. This includes obeying speed limits, using turn signals, and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. Vehicle Maintenance: You are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle you operate is well-maintained and in good working condition. This includes performing routine checks such as checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and brakes, and reporting any mechanical issues for repairs. Route Planning and Navigation: You plan your route to reach your destination efficiently, considering factors such as traffic conditions, construction zones, and weather conditions. You may use navigation tools such as GPS devices or maps to find the best route. Customer Service (if applicable): If you are a passenger driver (such as a taxi or rideshare driver), you provide excellent customer service to passengers. This includes greeting passengers courteously, assisting with luggage or belongings, and ensuring a comfortable and safe ride experience. Cargo Handling (if applicable): If you are a delivery or truck driver, you are responsible for loading and unloading cargo safely and securely. This may involve lifting and carrying heavy items, using equipment such as hand trucks or forklifts, and ensuring that cargo is properly secured for transport. Adherence to Schedule: You adhere to schedules and timelines for pick-ups, drop-offs, or deliveries, ensuring that you arrive at each destination on time. You may need to adjust your route or driving speed to accommodate changes or unexpected delays. Communication: You maintain clear communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or passengers, providing updates on your location, estimated arrival times, and any issues or concerns that arise during your journey. Documentation: You maintain accurate records of your trips, including mileage logs, fuel purchases, and any delivery or pick-up documentation required for your role. Safety Awareness: You prioritize safety for yourself, passengers (if applicable), and other road users. This includes wearing seat belts, obeying traffic signs and signals, and being alert for potential hazards or obstacles on the road. Emergency Response: In the event of an emergency or accident, you remain calm and follow established procedures for ensuring the safety of yourself and others. This may include contacting emergency services, providing assistance to passengers or others involved, and documenting the incident as required.
