Vehicle Operation: Safely operating and maneuvering vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, buses, or specialized vehicles, according to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies. Transportation Services: Transporting passengers, clients, employees, or goods to specified destinations, following predetermined routes or directions provided by dispatchers or supervisors. Loading and Unloading: Assisting with loading and unloading of passengers, luggage, cargo, or materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage or loss. Vehicle Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights, and reporting any mechanical issues or concerns to supervisors. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety standards, traffic laws, and regulations governing the operation of vehicles, including seat belt use, speed limits, and driving hours. Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service to passengers, clients, or customers, assisting with their needs, inquiries, or special requests, and ensuring a positive experience. Route Planning: Planning and organizing efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and road closures. Communication: Maintaining communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or passengers via radio, telephone, or other communication devices to provide updates on travel status and report any incidents or delays. Vehicle Inspection: Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition, reporting any defects or damage, and completing required inspection logs or reports. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle inspections, and passenger or cargo manifests, and submitting required reports or documentation as needed. Emergency Response: Responding calmly and effectively to emergency situations such as accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies, and following established procedures for assistance and reporting. Professionalism and Courtesy: Upholding professional standards of conduct and appearance, demonstrating courtesy and respect towards passengers, clients, and other road users, and representing the company in a positive light.
