Vehicle Operation: Safely operate different types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, buses, or specialized vehicles used in the automotive industry. Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving. Transportation of Goods: Transport goods, parts, or materials between different locations, such as manufacturing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, or retail outlets. Ensure that cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded properly to prevent damage or loss during transit. Delivery Services: Provide delivery services for automotive products, such as spare parts, accessories, or aftermarket components. Follow delivery schedules, routes, and instructions to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers or end-users. Shuttle Services: Provide shuttle services for employees, customers, or visitors within automotive facilities, such as manufacturing plants, dealerships, or service centers. Transport passengers safely and courteously, following designated routes and schedules. Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on assigned vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Check fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other vehicle components before and after each trip. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles. Follow company policies and procedures related to vehicle operation, including wearing seat belts, using safety equipment, and avoiding distracted driving. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, clients, or customers during transportation. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, handle inquiries or requests, and address any concerns or issues in a professional manner. Navigation and Route Planning: Use navigation systems, maps, or GPS devices to plan routes and navigate to destinations efficiently. Familiarize yourself with local roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes to avoid delays or congestion. Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or colleagues to provide updates on route progress, schedule changes, or any incidents encountered during transportation. Use two-way radios, mobile phones, or communication apps as needed. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or accidents encountered while driving. Follow established procedures for reporting incidents, assisting passengers or injured individuals, and seeking help from emergency services as necessary. Vehicle Care and Cleanliness: Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times. Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as washing the exterior, vacuuming the interior, and removing trash or debris from the vehicle. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance activities, and incident reports. Complete required paperwork, logs, or forms related to transportation, delivery, or vehicle inspection.
