Sorting and Storing: Sort and organize cleaned dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated storage areas. Arrange items neatly and efficiently to facilitate easy access and retrieval by kitchen staff. Maintaining Equipment: Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, including regular cleaning and sanitization of the equipment. Report any malfunctions or issues with dishwashing equipment to supervisors for repair or maintenance. Assisting Kitchen Staff: Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients, or assembling dishes. Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely service. Handling Waste and Recycling: Dispose of garbage, food scraps, and recyclable materials in accordance with waste management policies and procedures.
