Job description

Guest Services: Deliver items requested by guests to their rooms, such as room service orders, amenities, towels, toiletries, and other requested items. Provide friendly and efficient service while adhering to the resort's service standards. Room Set-Up: Assist with setting up guest rooms for arrivals, including delivering luggage, arranging amenities, and ensuring that rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for guest occupancy. Food and Beverage Delivery: Transport food orders from the kitchen to guest rooms, poolside areas, or designated dining locations within the resort. Ensure that food items are delivered promptly and in good condition, adhering to food safety standards. Supply and Inventory Management: Assist with managing inventory levels for items such as linens, towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities. Keep track of stock levels, replenish supplies as needed, and report any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate department. Transportation Services: Provide transportation services for resort guests and staff, including shuttle services to and from airports, train stations, and local attractions. Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit. Package and Mail Delivery: Handle the delivery and distribution of packages, mail, and parcels for guests and staff. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensure that items are delivered to the intended recipients in a timely manner. Communication and Coordination: Coordinate delivery schedules and routes with other resort departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that delivery requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating delivery vehicles and handling goods. Ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and comply with safety standards for transportation. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude when interacting with others. Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address any issues or challenges that may arise during delivery operations, such as traffic delays, delivery errors, or guest complaints. Implement solutions and escalate issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Route Optimization: Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times. Use GPS navigation systems or route planning software to identify the most efficient routes and avoid traffic congestion or road closures. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of delivery activities, including delivery logs, receipts, and incident reports. Generate reports on delivery performance, including metrics such as delivery times, completion rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
