Job description

Product Delivery: Deliver Ayurvedic medicines, herbal supplements, wellness products, and health supplies to patients, customers, and healthcare facilities according to established schedules and routes. Ensure accurate and safe handling of products during loading, transportation, and unloading to prevent damage or loss. Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with inventory management personnel to verify product availability, packaging requirements, and delivery instructions for each shipment. Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to coordinate product pickups, deliveries, and returns as needed. Route Planning and Navigation: Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time, fuel, and resources while ensuring timely delivery to multiple locations. Utilize GPS navigation systems, maps, and route optimization software to navigate routes, avoid traffic congestion, and minimize delays. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights, to ensure safe and reliable operation. Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional customer service to recipients during product deliveries, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests they may have. Obtain recipient signatures or proof of delivery as required, and ensure accurate documentation of delivery records and receipts. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws, driving regulations, and safety standards while operating delivery vehicles on public roads and highways. Follow company policies and procedures related to vehicle operation, personal safety, and security protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Communication and Coordination: Maintain open communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other delivery team members to provide status updates, report delays, and coordinate logistical support. Collaborate with internal departments, such as customer service, sales, and warehouse staff, to address customer inquiries, resolve delivery issues, and improve service quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of delivery activities, including delivery logs, mileage reports, fuel consumption records, and vehicle maintenance logs. Prepare delivery reports, performance metrics, and operational data for review by management to evaluate delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Problem Solving and Adaptability: Identify and resolve delivery challenges, such as traffic delays, route detours, adverse weather conditions, or customer issues, with resourcefulness and flexibility. Adjust delivery plans and schedules as needed to accommodate changes in delivery volumes, priorities, or customer preferences. Professionalism and Integrity: Represent the Ayurvedic clinic or wellness center with professionalism, integrity, and respect while interacting with customers, suppliers, and the public. Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and privacy when handling sensitive information or deliveries related to patient healthcare products or services.
