Staff Supervision: Direct and supervise cleaning staff, including janitors, cleaners, and custodians, ensuring that they perform their duties effectively and efficiently. Assign tasks, schedule work shifts, and provide training and guidance as needed to ensure high-quality cleaning services. Work Planning and Organization: Plan and organize cleaning schedules, assignments, and priorities based on facility requirements, cleaning protocols, and staffing levels. Coordinate with other departments or teams to schedule cleaning activities during non-peak hours or downtime. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work areas to assess cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with cleaning standards and protocols. Identify areas that require attention or improvement and provide feedback or corrective action to cleaning staff as necessary. Supply Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials, ensuring that adequate quantities are available to support cleaning operations. Order supplies, restock inventory, and maintain storage areas in an organized and efficient manner. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and mops, are properly maintained, cleaned, and serviced according to manufacturer recommendations. Coordinate repairs or replacements as needed to minimize downtime and ensure equipment functionality. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards in the workplace.
