Job description

Surface Cleaning: Dusting, wiping, and sanitizing surfaces such as desks, countertops, tables, windowsills, and other furniture to remove dust, dirt, and germs. Floor Care: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors to remove dirt, stains, and debris. This includes different types of flooring such as hardwood, tile, carpet, and linoleum. Bathroom Sanitization: Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures such as toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, and countertops to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Kitchen Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen appliances, countertops, sinks, and cabinets to remove grease, food residues, and stains. Sanitizing food preparation areas to ensure food safety and hygiene. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins, garbage cans, and recycling bins and disposing of waste properly according to established procedures and regulations. Surface Disinfection: Using disinfectants and sanitizers to kill bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens on high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons. Restroom Restocking: Restocking restroom supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer to ensure availability for users. Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Performing specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, window washing, and deep cleaning of hard-to-reach areas. Cleaning Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mop buckets, and scrubbing machines by cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts as necessary. Following Safety Protocols: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and exposure to hazardous chemicals or substances. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or facility managers for prompt resolution. Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service to clients, tenants, or occupants by addressing their cleaning needs and concerns promptly and effectively. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other cleaning staff members to coordinate tasks, share responsibilities, and ensure that cleaning duties are completed efficiently and effectively. Continuous Improvement: Seeking opportunities for training, learning, and skill development to enhance cleaning techniques, efficiency, and effectiveness. Staying updated on industry best practices and innovations.
