Job description

Surface Cleaning: Dusting, wiping, and cleaning surfaces such as desks, tables, countertops, shelves, and other furniture to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Floor Care: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to remove dirt, stains, and debris. This includes using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment based on the type of flooring (e.g., wood, tile, carpet). Bathroom Cleaning: Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures such as sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, and countertops. Restocking toiletries (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) as needed. Kitchen Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen surfaces, countertops, sinks, appliances (microwave, refrigerator), and cabinets. Ensuring kitchen areas are free of food debris and maintaining cleanliness standards. Trash Removal: Emptying and replacing trash bins and recycling containers, ensuring waste is disposed of properly and recycling guidelines are followed. Window and Glass Cleaning: Cleaning windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools to ensure streak-free results. Dusting and Cobweb Removal: Dusting surfaces, light fixtures, vents, and removing cobwebs from corners and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy environment. Disinfection and Sanitization: Using disinfectants and sanitizers to clean high-touch surfaces, door handles, handrails, and other areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards. Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Performing specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as cleaning carpets, upholstery, curtains, light fixtures, and walls. Restocking Supplies: Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables to ensure availability for daily cleaning tasks. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Notifying management or maintenance staff of any maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning activities. Following Safety Protocols: Adhering to safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure personal safety and compliance with health and safety regulations. Environmental Awareness: Implementing environmentally friendly cleaning practices and products to minimize environmental impact. Teamwork and Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other cleaning staff and departments to ensure overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. Quality Control: Conducting inspections and quality checks to ensure cleaning standards are met or exceeded, and addressing any deficiencies promptly.
