Job description

Surface Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, countertops, desks, tables, and other fixtures, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Dusting and Vacuuming: Dusting surfaces to remove dirt, dust, and debris, and vacuuming carpets, rugs, and upholstery to eliminate dirt, allergens, and odors. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and waste receptacles, replacing liners as needed, and disposing of waste in designated areas or containers for proper disposal. Bathroom Cleaning: Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures, such as toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, and countertops, and restocking supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. Kitchen Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen appliances, countertops, sinks, and other surfaces, removing food waste, and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and storage areas. Mopping and Sweeping: Mopping floors to remove dirt, spills, and stains, and sweeping or scrubbing floors as needed to maintain cleanliness and prevent slip hazards. Glass Cleaning: Cleaning and polishing glass surfaces, such as windows, doors, and mirrors, to remove smudges, fingerprints, and streaks for a sparkling finish. High-Dust Cleaning: Dusting high surfaces, such as ceiling fans, light fixtures, vents, and shelves, using ladders or extension poles to reach inaccessible areas. Specialized Cleaning: Performing specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning, floor waxing or polishing, or deep cleaning projects. Disinfection and Sanitization: Using disinfectants and sanitizers to eliminate germs, bacteria, and viruses from surfaces, especially in high-touch areas or during outbreaks of contagious diseases. Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and scrubbers, by cleaning, sanitizing, and storing them properly after use, and reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. Adherence to Safety Procedures: Following safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
