Cleaning Procedures: Performing cleaning tasks according to established procedures, schedules, and standards. This may include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings to remove dirt, debris, and germs. Surface Sanitization: Sanitizing and disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, handrails, countertops, and restroom fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Using appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to ensure effective sanitation. Restroom Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Restocking restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels as needed. Monitoring restroom cleanliness and addressing any issues promptly. Trash Removal: Collecting and disposing of trash, recyclables, and waste materials in designated containers. Segregating recyclable materials from general waste and following proper waste disposal protocols and regulations. Floor Care: Cleaning and maintaining various types of flooring surfaces, including carpets, hardwood floors, tiles, and linoleum. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to remove dirt, stains, and debris and restore their appearance. Window and Glass Cleaning: Cleaning windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces to remove smudges, fingerprints, and streaks. Using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to achieve streak-free results and enhance visibility. Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools such as vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms, and squeegees. Performing routine inspections, repairs, and replacements to ensure equipment functionality and longevity. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and goggles as necessary to protect against hazards and exposure to chemicals. Reporting and Communication: Reporting any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or cleaning supply shortages to supervisors or management promptly. Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate tasks, share information, and address cleaning-related issues. Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service to occupants, visitors, and clients. Responding to cleaning requests, inquiries, and feedback in a timely and respectful manner. Maintaining a positive attitude and demeanor while interacting with others. Emergency Response: Assisting with emergency response procedures such as spills, leaks, or accidents that require immediate cleaning or containment. Following established protocols and safety procedures to address emergency situations effectively.
