Job description

Interior Cleaning: Vacuuming and steam cleaning upholstery, carpets, and floor mats in vehicles to remove dirt, dust, and stains. Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces such as dashboards, door panels, and center consoles to ensure a clean and hygienic interior. Exterior Cleaning: Washing and waxing vehicles to remove dirt, grime, and road debris from the exterior surfaces. Cleaning and polishing windows, mirrors, and headlights for optimal visibility and appearance. Detailing: Performing detailed cleaning and restoration of vehicle interiors and exteriors, including leather conditioning, plastic trim restoration, and paint correction. Applying protective coatings and sealants to enhance the appearance and durability of vehicle surfaces. Shop and Facility Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, and dusting shop floors, waiting areas, and service bays to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Emptying trash bins, recycling containers, and cleaning receptacles to ensure proper waste management and sanitation. Restroom Cleaning: Cleaning and disinfecting restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, countertops, and floors, to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards. Replenishing restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed. Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and steam cleaners to ensure proper functionality and longevity. Reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to supervisors for prompt resolution. Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and exposure to hazardous chemicals or materials. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and aprons when handling cleaning chemicals and performing cleaning tasks. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and replenishing stock as needed. Keeping track of usage and consumption patterns to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste. Customer Service: Interacting courteously and professionally with customers and employees, addressing any cleaning-related concerns or requests promptly and effectively. Providing assistance and information as needed to enhance the overall customer experience. Quality Assurance: Conducting quality inspections and audits of cleaning tasks and areas to ensure that cleanliness standards are met or exceeded. Addressing any deficiencies or discrepancies identified during inspections and taking corrective action as necessary. Communication: Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments to coordinate cleaning activities, share information, and address any issues or concerns. Reporting any maintenance or repair needs, safety hazards, or incidents to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Continuous Improvement: Seeking opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings in cleaning operations.
