Job description

Surface Cleaning: Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, including desks, tables, countertops, shelves, and fixtures, to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to kill germs and prevent the spread of infections. Floor Care: Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Remove stains, spills, and debris from carpets, rugs, tiles, and other floor surfaces to maintain cleanliness and safety. Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, and countertops, to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and paper towel dispensers as needed. Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances, and equipment, such as countertops, sinks, stovetops, refrigerators, and microwaves. Remove grease, food residue, and spills to prevent bacterial growth and maintain food safety. Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and waste materials from designated bins, containers, or receptacles. Ensure proper separation and disposal of different types of waste according to recycling and waste management guidelines. Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumable items, such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags, to ensure adequate availability for daily use. Surface Disinfection: Disinfect high-touch surfaces, commonly used items, and shared equipment, such as doorknobs, light switches, handrails, keyboards, and telephones, to prevent the spread of germs and viruses. Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Perform specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as window cleaning, carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning, and floor stripping and waxing, using specialized equipment and techniques. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to cleaning operations and chemical handling. Use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and masks, when handling cleaning agents and chemicals. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of cleaning services by inspecting cleaned areas, identifying any missed spots or areas requiring additional attention, and addressing deficiencies promptly. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional customer service to clients, residents, or occupants by addressing cleaning-related inquiries, concerns, or requests in a timely and satisfactory manner. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other cleaning staff, supervisors, and facility management personnel to coordinate cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
