Job description

General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility to ensure cleanliness and orderliness. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Workstation Cleaning: Clean workstations, equipment, tools, and machinery to remove dirt, grease, and debris. Pay special attention to high-touch areas and sensitive equipment that require delicate cleaning methods. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly to ensure hygiene and comfort for employees, customers, and visitors. This includes cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures, as well as restocking restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Waste Management: Empty trash bins and recycling containers throughout the facility and dispose of waste in designated areas. Separate recyclable materials from general waste and ensure that hazardous materials are disposed of safely and in accordance with regulations. Spill Cleanup: Respond promptly to spills, leaks, and accidents to prevent slips, trips, and falls. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to clean up spills and restore affected areas to a safe and clean condition. Floor Care: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing as needed. Use floor cleaning products suitable for the type of flooring material to remove stains, dirt, and grime effectively. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and partitions to ensure clarity and visibility. Use appropriate glass cleaning solutions and techniques to remove dirt, fingerprints, and streaks from glass surfaces. Outdoor Cleaning: Clean and maintain outdoor areas such as parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and loading docks. Remove debris, litter, and snow or ice as needed to ensure safety and accessibility for employees and visitors. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and scrubbers, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Replace worn-out or damaged parts and schedule regular servicing as needed. Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations governing cleaning practices and waste disposal. Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
