Job description

Cleaning Tasks: Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash bins. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, and other areas as required. Surface Disinfection: Use appropriate cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sanitizers to eliminate germs, bacteria, and viruses from surfaces. Pay special attention to high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, countertops, and handrails. Floor Care: Clean and maintain different types of flooring, including hardwood, tile, carpet, and linoleum. Use appropriate cleaning methods and equipment such as mops, brooms, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to ensure floors are clean and presentable. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to remove dirt, fingerprints, and smudges. Use glass cleaners and squeegees to achieve streak-free results. Furniture and Upholstery Cleaning: Dust, wipe, and polish furniture surfaces to remove dust, stains, and spills. Vacuum upholstery, cushions, and drapes to remove dirt and allergens. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, faucets, and urinals. Refill soap dispensers, replace toilet paper rolls, and restock paper towels or hand dryers as needed. Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, sinks, and appliances. Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware. Dispose of food waste properly and clean kitchen floors to prevent grease buildup. Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly. Replace trash liners and ensure proper disposal of waste according to recycling and waste management guidelines. Specialized Cleaning: Perform specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet shampooing, floor waxing, deep cleaning, and sanitization procedures. Follow industry best practices and safety protocols when handling specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in good working condition. Clean and inspect equipment regularly, perform routine maintenance tasks, and report any equipment malfunctions or damage to supervisors. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, follow proper chemical handling procedures, and adhere to safety regulations. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, addressing their cleaning needs and concerns.
